The PDS2GO U2FWEIDE25-1 is an USB 2.0 & FireWire (IEEE 1394) to IDE (ATA) enclosure for 2.5" HDD. It is designed to enable hot-swap, plug-and-play operation for IDE (ATA) device through the USB 2.0 or FireWire (IEEE 1394) interface that is installed on a computer. U2FWEIDE25-1 can be easily hot-swapped without interrupting the current operation. U2FWEIDE25-1 provides the perfect solution for data backup and transferring of data between computers using hard disk drives.

There are three ways to power the PDS2GO25.

From DC Jack: DC + 8V ~ 30V From FireWire (IEEE 1394a) Bus Power. From USB Bus Power. The DC Jack power will be enabled only when there is a cable (either USB or FireWire) connected. This is a protection feature.
